The European Respiratory Society (ERS) International Congress is the once-a-year occasion when the world's respiratory experts meet to present and discuss the latest research on topics such as asthma, COPD, lung cancer, pollution and smoking. Due to coronavirus, the Congress is going virtual for the first time ever, with over 25,000 participants from all over the world taking part in the exchange of scientific and clinical excellence across the entire field of respiratory medicine. The reputation of ERS derives from the outstanding scientific programme of its international conference, which is now the largest respiratory meeting in the world.
